Welcome to the online neighborhood of the Monroe Church of the Nazarene.  We are located in Monroe Michigan. It's our goal to help people "connect with God's life changing love."  The word "connect" is becoming a big word around here!  It's dawning on us that God wants us to connect with Him, not just experience Him.  The Bible teaches that we are better able to connect with God by connecting with each other.  Come and see what it means to be a connecting link in the neighborhood called the Monroe Church of the Nazarene!  To get started click on the "Welcome Center" button at the top of ths page.  After you have toured the site feel free to "Get Connected" by joining this site by following the link by the same name.

Prayer is moving center stage in our church.  This is happening primarily through the newly formed "Prayer Initiative."  This group of people get together in the sanctuary on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM and PRAY.  Too often we study prayer, talk about prayer, sing about prayer, but rarely pray.  As the group gathers they know that at least 45 minutes of the hour will be spent in crying out to God.  This ministry is powerful and is quickly becoming a focal point of the church.  Feel free to join us Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM.  Plan to meet with God!
